Dr. Kenneth J. Bonk, a Detroit native, graduated from Denison University in 1971. He graduated from the University of Detroit Dental School in 1974. Following a one year dental internship at Veterans Administration Hospital in Allen Park, MI, he completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Michael Reese Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Bonk became board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1980. He is past president of both The Detroit Academy or Oral Surgery and the Michigan Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is active in many national organizations.
Dr. Bonk maintains hospital privileges at Crittenton Hospital and St. John-Macomb. Dr. Bonk has been practicing in Rochester for twenty-seven years. He has three grown daughters. Dr. Bonk and his wife, Eve, enjoy sailing, skiing, and cooking.
