Dr Aaron Porkorny did an extraction of a molar four months ago and an implant yesterday. Both procedures were painless and expertly done. He personally called later in the evening to make sure everything was OK. Great oral surgeon and great office personnel to make sure the experience is a positive one.

I have been a patient of Rochester Hills Oral Surgery for over 20 years. I recently had another procedure with Dr. Pokorny and I can’t say enough good things about my experience! Dr. Pokorny has the most amazing bedside manner, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. He is also an extremely talented and highly gifted surgeon! The staff is equally fantastic—friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional. They answered all my questions and made sure I felt supported every step of the way. (Even held my hands and rubbed my shoulders!!!!) . I highly recommend Dr. Pokorny and Rochester Hills Oral Surgery to anyone needing oral surgery. For most it’s so scary but I promise this office will take the fear away. Thank you for again for such a wonderful experience!

If I could give 6 stars I would! Let me start by saying I wish I found this doctor a few months earlier. My older son had a horrible experience at another office in Macomb, so although we have something to which we can compare this current experience, Rochester OMS still far exceeded our expectations! From consultation to post surgery, every staff member was dedicated to ensuring my son had the best care. The front office staff was professional and accommodating. The dental assistant was kind and welcoming. Dr. Renke answered every single question my 14 yo had, and patiently might I add. He has wonderful bedside manners. The billers explained insurance and payments due. Then, there was the day of surgery. They called my son back and his father and I waited in the warm, inviting waiting room. The entire office, including the restroom, was clean and comfortable. The post op area is efficient and equipped with a recovery space for the patient and chair for the parents/ caregiver/ driver. After surgery, the doctor came out to greet us himself, which was surprising because at the other office my older son went to, the doctor did not greet their dad at all the day of surgery… not even after the surgery was done. Dr Renke provided our son with a gift card for a smoothie and thorough post op care instructions. The dissolvable stitches and quality dental care provided by Dr. Renke kept our son’s pain at an absolute minimum. He actually was able to work the day after surgery, but as we were warned, the discomfort peaked around days 3-5. Bleeding was also minimal, which was a blessing because at that other office I mentioned, where I took my older son, my son was bleeding for 3 days! When I decide to write a review for an office, good or bad, I take that task very seriously. I can confidently say that I highly recommend this office to anyone searching for an oral surgeon. You’ll be in good hands.

Absolute 10/10!! Dr. Pokorny removed my wisdom teeth years ago so it was a no-brainer to see him again when I needed a dental implant. The entire team has went above and beyond to answer all my questions, explain the entire process and any risks, and make sure I'm comfortable before/during/after the procedure. I even started feeling queasy/light headed after my procedure and they were SO generous helping me recover and making sure I made it home safely. They are true professionals; their care and expertise is absolutely unmatched!! I would 100% trust and recommend Dr. Pokorny and his team to those seeking oral surgery! Thank you so much!

I had to have an old root canal tooth extracted because it got infected. They got me in immediately the day I called. Dr Renke was so thorough and informative throughout the entire process.
