Dr.Porkny and his office are a class act.I was not only treated as a priority from day one but the procedure was done quickly and explained everything as it was done.I had huge confidence in him as well as his nurses.Im a business owner as well and know what is needed to do things correctly.I had no problems during or after,The Dr even followed up in evening to see how i was.Will only consider this Dr going forward and reccommend him to anyone.Thanks

I pretty much never publicly review anything but so happy was I with Dr. Porkony and the staff’s performance here at the are. I had an 8am appointment with my family dentist for tooth pain and 3 hours and 2 referrals later, I had a severely infected tooth extracted by Dr. Porkony. The extraction was quick and as painless as possible. Minimal post-op pain and Dr. Porkony called me later in the evening to follow up and ask how I was doing. Great service, great staff! I hope to never need an oral surgeon again, but if I do, I know where to go. Go Green!

One usually does not praise a visit for a dental extraction as being "wonderful", but this is the exception. Dr. Pokorny and staff were 5 star in every aspect of the visit. Have no fear in utilizing their services. They know what they are doing. Unique to this visit is that, as a teen, I was a patient of Dr. Pokorny's grandfather, Donald. He also knew what he was doing.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Pokorny under nervous circumstances. I was referred to him by my regular dentist after he noticed a discoloration on my gums. The office was able to get me in right away and although I was a little apprehensive as to what it might be, Dr. Pokorney assured me it was probably nothing and left the decision up to me if I wanted to have a biopsy of the tissue. I decided to have it. There was little discomfort before and none that night. And Dr. Pokorny called me personally to see how I was.They assured me I would be contacted with the results. To begin, I had been delaying getting my wisdom teeth out for quite some time due to the inconvenience I thought it would be. However, Rochester Hills Oral Surgery made the procedure as quick & as pain-free as possible. First, the consultation was quick and informative, there Dr. Pokorny was able to answer all of my questions in detail and provide me with all of the information to make me feel better equipped & relaxed for the surgery & post-op recovery. Next, the surgery was quick and pain-free. Doctor Pokorny and the nurses assisting him made sure that I was comfortable and took great care of me before leaving the office. Lastly, post-op has been going great. Dr. Pokorny even called me himself to make sure everything was going great and to answer any questions that I may have had. Overall, a great experience, and would recommend their clinic to anyone weary or putting off getting their wisdom teeth taken out. Trust me, it's not as bad as you think-especially getting it done here!

Just got 4 impacted wisdom teeth out 8 hours ago and I have almost no pain even though the numbness has seemed to go away. The whole process was SOOOO much easier than I worried about for 3 months leading up to it. I literally cried tears of joy when they said everything went well and they were done. I laughed at myself for worrying so much about it. I sat in the chair and they put some stuff on me and next thing I know they were helping me out of the chair and it was all done. I know I have quite a bit more recovery to go through but most people are saying the peak of the pain starts after the numbness wears off, to which I have none so far. Dr. Sonpaul even just called me and asked how I was doing. Everyone there is so nice and makes everything so nice, comfortable and easy.

I had to have an emergency tooth extraction and was referred to Dr. Poorly by my dentist. My experience was exceptional. They made sure I was comfortable and well numbed before removing the tooth. They explained everything about the procedure before and during. Instructions were clear for when I went home and later that night Dr. Pokorny called me himself to check and see how I was doing.

I came in extremely nervous for a tooth extraction and from the moment I walked in talking to receptionist she is just so refreshing and full of joy. When I get to the back I'm no longer nervous because of my fun talks with the receptionist then the assistants are just as amazing I was laughing and having so much fun while they extracted one of my wisdom teeth. Dr. Renke made sure I was comfortable, I was unbelievably comfortable, after it was over I was not ready to go I had so much fun with the staff. they are the best they effortlessly brighten your day, with their happiness. I had surgery for an implant. Doctor Pokorny and his assissants thoroughly explained what the procedure would involve and what the time frame would be for the entire process. The level of discomfort was no greater than a thorough teeth cleaning. I highly recommend Rochester Hills Oral Surgery.

I can highly recommend Rochester Hills Oral surgery and Dr. Pokorny! I had my wisdom teeth removed and Dr. Pokorny took time to answer my questions, listened to my concerns, and offered professional advice. On the day of the removal, he walked me through the steps during the whole procedure and it took less than 5 minutes for me to have my sets removed! However, the best care experience came after that - I had a bit of bleeding and Dr. Pokorny reached out to me on Friday night to make sure I was okay. Since the bleeding was still there on Saturday, he met me at his Office (on a Labor Day weekend!) and helped me with bleeding. I had zero discomfort during and after the procedure and he made sure to walk me through again with the steps. Dr. Pokorny, never have I had such great care from a dental practitioner! Outstanding. The office of Rochester Hills Oral Surgery was beyond exceptional. Every employee I encountered was polite, professional, and had a genuine concern for your care and needs. We had an apt for my oldest son to have an infected cavity extracted. With him being only 5 years old its a bit of an anxious endeavor already, however this feeling was quickly diminished. Between the team of Dr. Pokorny and Tiffany it couldn't have been a better experience. They both talked to my son about the process, slowly explaining things in a way he could understand. Also allowed him to watch Youtube as he got prepared for the surgery. "Fireman Sam lol" With what seemed like only minutes after I had left the room I was called back in to the Post op area to be with him. Once again more employees, including other doctors had stopped by to explain things and ask how he was doing. We were even provided with a Tropical Smoothie voucher to help with my little ones healing process. Furthermore, the team, including doctor Pokorny had follow up phone calls to my wife at least 2 times later in the evening. That to me is unbelievable and ultimately almost unheard off in a typical medical setting. Bottom line is if you need services they provide or have been referred, there is no doubt you will not be disappointed. Thank you once more for the one of a kind experience. Our little man Christian was all set to go just 2 days later for his first full day of school!
