Dr. Pokorny and his staff are wonderful! I have high dental anxiety, and everyone in his office was so attentive and comforting. Dr. Pokorny is very gentle, very informative and has excellent skills. My whole experience was wonderful! I would absolutely recommend him to any of my friends and family.

Had to get all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. Was beyond nervous but Dr. Renke and his wonderful team kept me calm and made me feel extremely comfortable. Once I woke up from surgery I had zero pain and was back to normal. Dr renke is the best and I can't thank him and his team enough for getting me through this experience

My granddaughter had to have three baby teeth extracted. Our dentist recommended this group. We saw Dr. Sonpal and she was so good about explaining everything to us and to my granddaughter. She even called to see how she was doing the next day. The whole office staff was kind and professional.

A wondeful experience! I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Pokorny who was recommended by my dentist (and for good reason!). Dr. Pokorny was very kind and professional. He answerd all my questions patiently and never rushed. He was clear and helpful during the consultation and prepared me well for the procedure. The extractions themselves were done extremely well - he told me what was happening and what it should feel like at every step. Deanna (who assisted) was just the sweetest--she was warm and kind throughout. Dr. Pokorny minimized the trauma to the jaw which helped the healing process. He called later that day to make sure everything was going ok -- I really appreciated knowing I could contact him directly if needed. The office staff are understanding and patient. I highly recommend this office, and especially Dr. Pokorny!

A great experience!! My daughter needed her wisdom teeth removed and I was super nervous about it. Dr. Pokorny was kind and sweet, helping me feel much more relaxed. He called later the day of the surgery to make sure everything was ok. The office staff could have done that but he did it personally. I found that to be extra nice. The office staff are understanding and patient. I would definitely recommend this office.

I was scared for years to go to an oral surgeon for an extraction.When the pain became too much to bear I got up my nerve and saw Dr. Sonpal.To my surprise,the visit was actually pleasant,quick,and not really expensive.And what is most surprising is that even though a main molar is now gone,I don't even notice it.

As a child, I had a really bad experience that had left me terrified of the dental chair! Despite several dentists telling me to remove my impacted wisdom tooth which were a 'ticking time disaster', I had avoided the dental chair for many years. When I consulted Dr Pokorny, he laid out all risks and benefits. Given my procrastination of treatment, he pointed out the somewhat difficult journey ahead, but, at no point did he force any treatment. His professionalism but gentle manner gave me the confidence to proceed. Everything went smoothly. My post operative care was fabulous. He advised me what steps to take for pain when I called him out of hours during the Christmas break. Its been 2 weeks since the surgery. I still have some physical discomfort but I have the mental comfort that a very compassionate Dr is only a phone call away. My sincere gratitude to him and his staff.

I needed my lone wisdom tooth removed and was referred to Dr. Renke. I went in today. The doctor was ready for my appointment before the scheduled time, and gave a concise but informative rundown of the procedure. After receiving local sedation, Dr. Renke went right to work. I kid you not: about twenty seconds later the tooth was out, the sutures were in, and I was being debriefed. Not only did Dr. Renke do such wonderful work. but the staff was wonderful, incredibly friendly, and extremely skilled in "bedside manner". If you need a procedure done, I can definitely recommend Dr. Renke.

Outstanding service by Dr. Pokorny and his staff ! ! ! I do NOT like going to the dentist but he and his assistants made it as relaxing and anxiety free as I could have hoped for.

Not sure what to stress to researchers more: Dr. Pokorny's stellar bedside manner, the ease and simplicity of the tooth extraction and dental implant, or the welcoming staff. You will certainly be in good hands!!! My sincerest gratitude to Dr. Pokorny for making the entire process a breeze! Amazing you can even say "dental implant" and "breeze" in the same sentence! 🙂

I got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Pokorny when he still worked at the Birmingham Oral Surgery Group @ 555 Woodward back in 2013. Even before my surgery started, I had a severe panic attack and Dr. Pokorny was able to talk down and get me to relax, which I appreciated (and is also why I am not giving him a 1 star review). But since my surgery (4 years ago) I have had 5 tooth fragments come through my gums over the years. Both of my three of my holes never healed properly bc of tooth fragments left behind and I am actually going back this week to get my 6th tooth fragment removed from my gums. And these aren't tiny pieces, two of them have been the size of like 1/4 of my tooth! I just don't understand how he left so much of my tooth behind. Maybe he rushed through my surgery? Who knows. But having to continuously deal with this issue of the span of 4 years has NOT been fun.

Dr. Pokorny is an excellent dentist. I had to do wisdom tooth extraction and he did it in 15 minutes without any pain. I would recommend this place for any dentistry related issues without any second thought. Staff is very customer friendly and very humble.

I had a molar tooth extraction with sedation done by Dr. Pokorny and staff. This was the best dental experience I have ever had. From the beginning to end, everything was painless! The doctor called me later in the day to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend Dr. Pokorny to anyone needing Oral Surgery!

Today, I was at my regular dentist with incredible right sided face pain that was just getting worse and worse. The pain was centered over an old root canal so I was confused as to how or WHY I was feeling such intense pain over a tooth that no longer had a nerve. Xrays revealed my root had cracked and was becoming infected, hence the pain. I was basically about to rip the damn tooth out myself. The dentist called Renke Paul's office and asked if I could be immediately seen for an extraction. Not only did they accommodate this request, when I arrived, I was seen quickly and the staff was absolutely phenomenal. They explained every procedure and answered all my questions. The doctor was amazing and compassionate. I was in so much pain I was crying. They removed that damned tooth and made sure I had antibiotics and gave me a Motrin 600 and within an hour, I was completely back to normal (sans one tooth but hey....no more pain). Next step is an implant. I can't thank these guys enough. I was missing work. I was ready to just run into traffic from the pain. They understood my emergency and I can't thank them enough. Later, the doctor called to check up on me. It was much appreciated. I will recommend them to everyone. <3
