Good: 1. My son had his four wisdom teeth pulled, without complications. 2. Very good follow-up on any concerns Bad: 1. Very expensive. 2. Billing did not advise us that it is possible to have two dental insurances (from both parents) - this would have helped tremendously to reduce the out-of-pocket expenses. Rochester Hills Oral Surgery also benefits from two insurance payments, because it makes the oral procedure more affordable for their patients.

Very great experience!! I'm a nervous person and all when it comes to surgery and pain! I had all four wisdom teeth removed! But they took care of me super well ! I felt comfortable and relaxed ! They knew exactly what they were doing and what I needed ! Great staff and great oral surgeons! Highly recommend this place . They got me in and out of there feeling good and got me started right away when I walked in there for my appointment!

Wow!! I don't know where to begin! Nothing but great from Dr. Sonpal and the whole office staff. No wait time. In and out! I was very worried to get my wisdom teeth out. At the consultation Dr. Sonpal spent a lot of time with me going over everything. Then day of surgery she came in before surgery and asked if I had any other questions. After surgery I did not feel rushed. There was a recovery room. Then they give a free smoothie. Dr. Sonpal called me that night to check on me!! The first two days I was in no pain! Then I thought I had dry sockets. I called up and they got me in the same day! They are so nice!! The doctor I saw was very nice. He took lots of time to make sure I was reassured that the pain was normal. I felt so good walking out of the office knowing everything was ok. Then they sent me a check in the mail for over paying! I wish they could be my dentist!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Thank you so much Rochester Hills Oral Surgery Doctors and Staff!!!!

Dr. Renke is the best! Yesterday he removed my large tori which I thought would be a nightmare after researching on YouTube! I should have just listened to Dr. Renke. Being quite nervous when I arrived at the office, I soon became relaxed by the wonderful staff, Dr. Renke, and a little help with laughing gas and IV sedation. All I remember is Dr. Renke finishing up the stitches! When I got home while still numb, I started Ibuprofen 600 alternating with Tylenol. I had absolutely no bleeding, swelling, bruising or pain!! Nothing! Just enjoyed the day with ice cream and Netflix! Today is Day 2, and without meds i am still pain free and can slightly feel the stitches, but that’s it! I highly recommend Dr. Renke for any oral surgery, especially tori removal! His skill and friendly personality made this experience worthwhile, stress free and pleasant! Dr. Pokorny has been our family oral surgeon for over five years. Last February we moved up north, over 200 miles away. We still go down state to see Dr. Pokorny and his wonderful staff! Recently he completed a tooth extraction and tooth implant. I absolutely had NO pain or discomfort during either procedure. I take blood thinners for afib, but had again, no issues during my procedure or afterwards. Thank you Dr. Pokorny and staff.

Got 4 wisdom teeth out today couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish everyone was kind and caring. I wasn’t expecting the procedure to be so quick! I’m impressed. One of the nurses helped me to the car. Dr. Sonpal even called and checked on me which is so thoughtful. Thank you Dr. Sonpal and everyone who helped take care of me today!

I recently found that I had to have a molar removed - one that has been with me for many, many years. My appointment was with Dr. Aaron Pokorny at the OAM surgical location. Needless to say, I was worried and very scared of this since by all names - I am a Wuss and confess to that. So, very apprehensive when I stepped inside the office - but was cheerfully greeted and assured by Jessica and Angella that I would be in good hands. They also barred the door to keep me from bolting out the door when I said I was still considering the operation - something I do when the Wussiness begins in earnest. However, they ganged up and strapped me into the chair (kidding) when Deanna came in and actually calmed be - held my hand, soft tones to reassure me that the Dr. was a definite pro and I should not feel any pain. I half-heartedly laughed and then tried to leave again. When Dr. Pokorny came in - he once again put me at ease. The outcome - with pain killer injection and laughing gas - I am so happy to say that the Dr. and Deanna were fantastic. I rate everyone a 10+ and give me highest recommendation to the practice. They should all receive raises and commendations - even to Ann who once again calmed me when taking the check.. They are first class professional, compassionate, extremely friendly, and caring. If you are ever in need of oral surgery, I am convinced this is the only place to go. A+++ and 10+ rating. They really do take care of sissies and Wussies. Russ McKee

I saw Dr. Pokorny for an implant. I was so anxious about going through this procedure! Dr. Pokorny explained the entire process to me and what I could expect. Although I was still very nervous when he started, I was pleasantly surprised. He was quick and thorough and I had literally no pain at all! I highly recommend him and his staff!

Dr. Pokorny & his entire team were phenomenal. My 18 month old had a playground injury, we were referred to a pediatric dentist and then on to Dr. Pokorny. He fit us in within the hour. From the moment we got there I could tell we were in great hands. The ladies at the front desk were so sweet, the nurses were amazing and Dr. Pokorny had an exceptional bedside manor. He thoroughly explained everything and also left me w/ the reassurance that we can reach him at anytime as he is always on call should anything change/progress. This was all incredibly comforting. Had two molars extracted by Dr. Aaron Pokorny and he and his nurses were awesome. I went out and woke a little out of it but was functional. Weeks later and after doing some coconut oil pulling I'm nearly completely healed with no infections or dry sockets. I appreciate them so much and they're excellent. Thank you.
