I have nothing but great things to say about this office! I came to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, I had put it off for a few years because I was super nervous for the procedure and recovery. I had my surgery on Wednesday and it couldn’t have gone smoother. Everyone, from the receptionist at the front to the doctor and staff doing the procedure were all so so friendly and supportive. They were sure to answer all my questions and ensure I was comfortable the entire time. I’ve had no complications and the medications they prescribed have kept me super comfortable post op. I highly recommend getting your operations done here, especially if you are nervous like I was!!

I highly recommend Rochester Hills Oral Surgery for extractions & implants! I cannot say enough positive words about how professional & caring the entire staff is! Dr Pokorney is amazing! I've had him do an extraction and an implant screw a few years ago. I am currently going to him for a second implant tooth I need to have done. He talks you through every step, which really eases any anxiety. He's so good, the procedures are basically painless! What a great oral surgeon he is!!

My son recently did 4 wisdom teeth removal surgery at Rochester Hills Oral Surgery. I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From the moment we walked into the clinic, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff is not only courteous but also highly knowledgeable, answering all our questions and making sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Dr. Pokorny was thorough in explaining the procedure and planning. The surgery itself went smoothly. Dr. Pokorny and their team ensured that my son was relaxed and at ease. I especially want to highlight the patience and kindness of the staff as my son was waking up from anesthesia. They were attentive and comforting, taking the time to ensure he felt safe and secure. I truly can't say enough great things about Dr. Pokorny. He worked with my 10 year old. Right from our initial evaluation he talked to her with such respect, clarity and language she could understand. It really made her feel comfortable with our procedure. The day of our procedure he was prompt and professional and continued to work with her and her level of comfort. On top of it all- later in the evening after the procedure- HE CALLED TO CHECK IN! Not an assistant or an automated text. Dr. P will be our first and only call for future dental procedures.

I really can’t say enough about Dr Pokorny. If you are someone who has fear or health anxiety, this is the place to go. I actually am from Ohio and am one of those people who digs in reviews and education of every doctor I’m interested in seeing. Now days it’s so extremely hard to find a doctor you are HAPPY with, COMFORTABLE with, and want to keep. I have been afraid of getting dental procedures forever and would keep postponing. Eventually I seen this office online and decided to make the 1.5 hour drive from Ohio to Rochester to see Dr P. (At this point I had 1 wisdom tooth and a molar that needed removed). I was absolutely terrified, but Dr P made me feel SO at ease, calmed me down and was compassionate with my fears. I even asked him to put me on a heart monitor and he did (even though it wasn’t needed) to help my panic attack. I even tried to leave but he convinced me to stay and to knock it out. I stayed and he numbed me up and gave me some laughing gas (I stayed awake) and he had my WISDOM tooth AND my MOLAR removed and stitched up and back in my car within 30 minutes (seriously so fast and so pain free). He has the most relaxing voice and really makes it easy for someone like me. Normally when you get wisdom teeth removed you're in pain after. I was not at all. I took Tylenol and was on my feet same day. Next procedure I broke a tooth that wasn't ready to be removed and that makes it harder to pull, once again he removed it and set me up for an implant (which he will be putting the screw in for me next), I healed perfect. Yesterday, I had an infection and my face and neck are swollen. He pulled the tooth and the only part that hurt was the numbing needle going inside my swollen infection. I am currently healing from this now and on antibiotics. I pay out of pocket because my insurance is not accepted by most dental, and the prices I'm always surprised how fair my bill is (cheap to be honest). Needless to say, I can't recommend this office enough and I really really can't recommend Dr Pokorny enough. If you're looking for an oral surgeon who literally is super sweet, genuinely cares, handles fear and anxiety well, and is great at his job, then seriously make an appointment He's amazing!

Rochester Hills Oral Surgery, Dr. Pokorny and all the staff are absolutely amazing! My son has autism and this is the only oral surgeon's office I will take him to. I too, am a patient. They are so kind, compassionate, and put their patients at ease. Hands down this place is top notch!

He never makes you feel rushed, and he answers all questions thoroughly and in a way that makes sense. His staff were all friendly also, and the office is clean and modern. I had a great experience with an extraction at this office! The procedure was quick and easy, the staff was polite and comforting, and before I knew it I was waking up in a recovery room. Overall, recovery has also been easy with minimal downtime and pain. The surgeon (Dr. Pokorny) was extremely nice and professional with clear instructions on how to take care of myself after the procedure was over. I would recommend this office to anyone who is unsure on who to go with for surgery.
