I cannot say enough good things about this office. My dentist told me in my teens I needed my wisdom teeth taken out but I ignored it since they weren’t causing me any issue I later had to get a tooth pulled with a permanent implant placed and that’s where I met Dr. Pokorny. Not only was he incredible at his job, he was kind, caring, makes you completely comfortable, no surprises. After having a wonderful experience with him performing my implant, I decided to have my wisdom teeth removed by him as well since we had such a good rapport. My wisdom teeth were removed yesterday, it is now about 26 hours post surgery and I have felt zero pain. I was able to decorate my house for Christmas just hours after my surgery, Dr. Pokorny called to check on me in the afternoon, slept well, and woke up feeling just as good. I’m a little more swollen today but that’s as expected as swelling peaks 48 hours after surgery, but I cannot say enough good things about this Doctor and his practice. If you or anyone you know needs ANYTHING related to oral surgery, Dr. Pokorny is the only one I’ll see. His demeanor and patient care alone is what made me decide to have my wisdom teeth removed and I’m so glad, and I’m so glad to be his patient. Thank you Dr. Pokorny!!!!

I had my wisdom teeth removed here and it was a great experience! The surgery itself is not fun, but they were professional, clean and made it an easy process. I had zero discomfort from when I arrived to when I left. Kathryn Sonpal did my surgery and she did fantastic. Our pre Op consultation, she explained everything step by step with all the details. I would definitely recommend this place!

Had to have a molar extracted. From setting up appointment through the actual extraction, the staff was great. They were very caring and helpful and answered all my questions. Dr. Pokorny did the extraction. He explained every step of the way and has a very calming demeanor. He even called me that evening to follow up. I highly recommend this office.

I had a tooth pulled Tues by Dr. Pokorny. My whole office visit was less than 40 minutes. I felt no pain. Amazingly enough, I had mild pain easily controlled by a motrin 2 hours later. After that, no pain or discomfort at all. I give Dr. Pokorny the highest recommendations! ❤️ 3 days later still great.

I had a tooth pulled to make room for an implant. Tooth was pulled several months ago by Dr. Pokorny--excellent experience, practice was friendly, professional, on time. Dr. Pokorny was pleasant and efficient, explaining everything to me, and making sure during the procedure that I was comfortable at all times. As much as one can be while getting a tooth pulled anyway.....laughing gas was great. Last week, I came in to have the implant peg put in. Again, on time, excellent experience. Dr. Pokorny even called a few hours after I got home to make sure I was doing OK. I will return in several months for a check on the peg before I get the crown installed. Would highly recommend Dr. Pokorny and the staff at Rochester Hills Oral Surgery.

My son had to get his eye teeth exposed to allow them to come down. We were a bit nervous about it, but the entire staff was great and relieved a lot of that nervousness. The surgery went well and the doctor came and explained everything that was done and really did a nice job of putting it in terms that were easily understood. The nurse stayed with my son after and made sure that he was feeling well before helping him to the car. Overall, it was a extremely positive experience. We will absolutely use them in the future if the need arises.

The staff is so welcoming and everything gets explained before the procedure. Options of comfort are offered such as nitrous oxide and other choices. I felt so relaxed and the removal was painless. Had no discomfort or swelling following the procedure. Dr P did an amazing job and the staff was there making me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Rochester Hills Oral Surgery and Dr. P!

Our elementary aged son had two surgeries done here - one in 2020 and the other in 2023. The staff and surgery team were patient and thorough in explaining things to us. The eased all our concerns, and made sure our son understood what was going on. They're professional and also gave us all the info needed re: insurance and payment. The doctor followed up with a phone call the evening after the surgery to ensure the recovery process was going smoothly. We highly recommend.
