Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Renke and his staff. I needed a tooth to be extracted and was referred by my personal dentist. Dr Renke took the time to explain to me what he was going to do and answered any questions. After that he pulled the tooth which was painless and gave me some follow-up instructions about timing of next steps etc. Lastly, he called last night just to check in and make sure I was alright. I got my wisdom teeth removed with another surgeon. After experiencing complications I called back into said surgeon. The first they could see me is 4 days out. I called Rochester Hills Oral Surgery and they were able to give me the advice I needed for the interim. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very kind and knowledgeable. She explained things to me in a way that I could understand. She explained to me likely what my doctor would end up prescribing. Signs to watch out for in case I needed to go to the ER. My doctor did none of this. Next year when my husband needs his wisdom teeth taken out, we will be coming here instead.
