Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Renke and his staff. I needed a tooth to be extracted and was referred by my personal dentist. Dr Renke took the time to explain to me what he was going to do and answered any questions. After that he pulled the tooth which was painless and gave me some follow-up instructions about timing of next steps etc. Lastly, he called last night just to check in and make sure I was alright. Good Guy/Great Experience in a less than great circumstance. -Dan Van Houzen Update Jan 27 2026…last week I visited Dr Renke again to have him place a post in my jaw for eventual permanent implant. I got my wisdom teeth removed with another surgeon. After experiencing complications I called back into said surgeon. The first they could see me is 4 days out. I called Rochester Hills Oral Surgery and they were able to give me the advice I needed for the interim. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very kind and knowledgeable. She explained things to me in a way that I could understand. She explained to me likely what my doctor would end up prescribing. Signs to watch out for in case I needed to go to the ER. My doctor did none of this. Next year when my husband needs his wisdom teeth taken out, we will be coming here instead.

My 10yo son was nervous to have his tooth extracted. Dr. Porkorny was wonderful from the start. He explained entire process directly to him. My son left raving about his experience which says a lot within itself. He praised the doctor and staff for their way of communication, kindness and promptness.

Dr. Renke did an implant procedure and have nothing but the best to say about him. He constantly assures you while performing the procedure. He is very cordial and polite. Would not hesitate to see him again. Update: I am now on my 3rd implant with Dr. Renke and would not go anywhere else.

I had a sinus lift procedure done by Dr Renke 2 days ago and I am very pleased with the care I’ve received. Dr Renke explained what he was doing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. The recovery so far has been remarkably easy with only minimal discomfort taking only ibuprofen every 6 hours.
